Currently, the actor is working as a lead male artist in Rang TV’s Assamese serial Ahinor Abeli. Chakraborty has done a number of serials before Ahinor Abeli but rose to fame with it. He manages both his profession and acting with ease and utter responsibility. Chakraborty completed his schooling at Don Bosco, Panbazar, and then completed his HS from Cotton College. He completed his dentistry from Regional Dental College, Guwahati. He is married to Dr. Mrinanda Borthakur who is also a dentist by profession and together they have a daughter named Shivangi.
